The theme was green
Before it turned blue
I've been melting into you
With watercolored marble eyes
That have blurred the view
Melt into me like the sea
With your southern haze
Blend with me into the skies
And remove the grays
I painted in only black and white
Only dreams held true color
I knew the difference between day and night
When not being undercover
I never saw the world so green
As I did in the dream
And rainbows that refused to blend
You showed me the other end
The canvas was empty
Before it changed hue
I've been melting into you
With the mixture of sand and sea
The shades of teal then grew
That stirred the mindWith a new kind
Of colors never seen
So i could paint your dream
You kept the masterpieces of mine
You hold each one to heart
You never judge them by day or time
Or how distant they are apart
You've always seen
The world so green
And rainbows that blend
And you showed me where they bend.
